A 45 year old patient came with neck pain and severe left arm pain. She is also having difficulty walking. On MRI cervical spine she is diagnosed with C6-7 big disc prolapse with severe nerve root compression with spinal cord compression. We operated her and C6-7 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion is done with cage and plate screw fixation. Her pain was gone after surgery and she is walking comfortably 1 day after surgery. We discharged her after 3 days with a cervical collar.
